Nations Ablaze Int

A team of CPN students went on a mission trip to Germany from June 20-July 8, 2018. In total there were 12 that participated in the project and we are amazed to see what God did through them. They said that their experience in Europe was very different because they needed to create friendships before they were able to actually minister to people. Open evangelism isn’t as commonly seen there and people tend to be more closed off to Christianity without a friendship being established first. The team was able to minister to refugees from other countries. They actually did an outreach called Bless the Block where they cleaned the building where the refugees live. They said this was a very eye opening experiencing; it humbled them and Juan Miguel says, “It was honestly one of the most disgusting things I’ve done because the place was so dirty, but I know that we were loving the people by doing this.” The group ministered to refugees from Eritrea, Ethiopia, Iran, and Af...

Daniel Moreno is a graduate from Christ for the Nations, Colombia. He says, “I heard about CPN through my cousin, Jessica, who was studying at the time. I went to the school for a week to see what it was like and after that I knew that I needed to go through the program- I felt a nudge in my spirit.” During his time in CPN, God revealed to Daniel many of His attributes- His love, His mercy, His forgiveness, His grace... In CPN he decided to dedicate his life to serving Jesus and to focus on the things above. After graduating in December, 2016, he started working in full time ministry in the foundation called Open Arms Ministry. This foundation is located on a farm in the mountains and the goal is a restoration process with boys who are at risk of being on the street. This is Brenda Valencia and she is currently in her 4 th semester of studies here at CPN. Brenda tells us her story of how she came to CPN and her plans for the future: “God told me to come to CPN, but at the time I didn’t have the money. It was hard for me to come, but I did it because I knew it was what God wanted; I wanted to walk in obedience. God provided a scholarship for me and it has been a huge blessing for me. “When I arrived I didn’t know why I was here at first. Many students are pastors kids and I felt out of place, however, during my time here God has worked on my heart and I’ve grown to know the Lord on a deeper level. Joy with Pastors Jerry and Barbara This is Joy Sambrano, a Global Missions graduate from Christ for the Nations Institute, Dallas (CFNI). Joy came to Medellín March 19, 2018 to complete her 15 week field school. Joy washing kids' feet in Manantiales She had the opportinity of participating in a mission trip with Church on the Hill during spring break of 2017 and afterwards felt the need to come back for a longer period of time- in her words, “A week was not enough.” She took steps of faith and God opened the door for us to receive her!! A third group of our students went to a community in Medellín called Manantiales. In this community there are many families that live in shacks- many of these families were driven out of their homes due to the invasion of the FARC years ago and they didn’t have the means to restablish themselves.  The first day of the mission, the team provided a medical brigade alongside the organization Visión Global, however, the main goal of this mission was doing a spring break camp for the kids and youth of the community. On a daily basis they would pick up the kids, take them to the foundation, and the mission team did activites, lessons, and games with   the children and the moms.  There was a time where the students began to minister and pray over the kids. There was a lot of inner healing that happened during this time, many kids were able to be free from pain they had been carrying for a long time.   Seeing the students of CP...
