VENEZUELA Praise Report


Good News!!!   Praise God for the graduates that are now ministering in Venezuela.  One of the graduates who stands out is Milbi Yelena.  She (like most of the Venezuelan students) did not want to return to her country but she was obedient to God.  Today she is the academic director at a worship institute.  She is very respected and fulfilling her call. 
Bryce and Marcela (our son and daughter in law) just got back from ministering at a youth conference in Venezuela.  Two days before traveling the borders were closed between Colombia and Venezuela.  The other guest speakers for the conference were canceling as Bryce and Marcela were looking for alternative routes to get into the country.  They were there and ministered and brought life and hope.  Venezuela is going through very difficult times as Maduro is exercising excessive authority.  We have been told that he is exporting Colombians who are married to Venezuelans and not allowing the Venezuelans to leave.  There is much animosity between the two countries.  Colombians feel that Venezuela is becoming as Cuba was several years ago

A Ministry of Multiplication

Leo Grisales, Christ for the Nations graduate who is dedicated to a ministry of multiplication. There are two things that have marked my life says Leo, “ there was my life before and after I accepted Christ as my Savior and there was my life before and after I studied at Christ for the Nations Colombia”.  Leo has a degree in Systems Engineering and had planned to study at Christ for the Nations to solidify his walk with God as he worked as a Systems Engineer.  During his time at the institute, he received several prophesies saying he would be going to the nations.  It was a foreign thought to him but after his first missions trip, he knew he was called full time to the nations to raise up workers for the kingdom of God. Anointing Before Character

David recently returned to Colombia from a mission trip to Mexico.   He shared his testimony in Mexico that impacted both Christians and non-Christians.   It is amazing to see how God uses him despite having been kidnapped by his father, living in fear of the law, and losing his mother at the age of 12. When David was about 2 years old, his father kidnapped him to try and get money from his grandfather.   His father was caught and went to jail for two years until David’s mother dropped the charges and asked him into their lives again.   His father moved in with his other “wife” and the two women, their children, and his father lived together. David’s family moved often to avoid being caught by the law.   David says that he feared police officers because his family was always hiding from them.
