CHRIST FOR THE NATIONS Praise Report

 Good News!!!  We have an incredible student body.  They are hungry to learn sound theology but also to develop solid character.  We have encouraged an atmosphere of accountability where the students are able to talk about their weaknesses and temptations and even of their failures and feel that they are safe and will receive support in overcoming the problem areas.  The students recognize sin and they don’t desire to continue in it so they seek help.   We hope they are developing a habit of accountability that they will continue through their lives.  One of the main reasons given for so many fallen leaders has been that they thought they could overcome their problems
 by themselves.  If they had had a mentor or an accountability partner who could pray and encourage them and give them tools to freedom, maybe they would still be in the ministry today.  We are happy that our students have been vulnerable and are learning to take off their masks.

 Other Great News!!! We are growing so much that we are out of space.  Great problem but we need wisdom.   We had to turn away 2 students this semester because we didn’t have housing for them.  We are out of space in our auditorium.  We are overcrowded in our office space.  There are no spare rooms for the many counseling appointments we have.    Pray for wisdom!!!!   We need much wisdom for the next steps to take.

A Ministry of Multiplication

Leo Grisales, Christ for the Nations graduate who is dedicated to a ministry of multiplication. There are two things that have marked my life says Leo, “ there was my life before and after I accepted Christ as my Savior and there was my life before and after I studied at Christ for the Nations Colombia”.  Leo has a degree in Systems Engineering and had planned to study at Christ for the Nations to solidify his walk with God as he worked as a Systems Engineer.  During his time at the institute, he received several prophesies saying he would be going to the nations.  It was a foreign thought to him but after his first missions trip, he knew he was called full time to the nations to raise up workers for the kingdom of God. Anointing Before Character

David recently returned to Colombia from a mission trip to Mexico.   He shared his testimony in Mexico that impacted both Christians and non-Christians.   It is amazing to see how God uses him despite having been kidnapped by his father, living in fear of the law, and losing his mother at the age of 12. When David was about 2 years old, his father kidnapped him to try and get money from his grandfather.   His father was caught and went to jail for two years until David’s mother dropped the charges and asked him into their lives again.   His father moved in with his other “wife” and the two women, their children, and his father lived together. David’s family moved often to avoid being caught by the law.   David says that he feared police officers because his family was always hiding from them.
