NAI 2016 IMPACT Report !!

Nations Ablaze International 2016 Impact Report:

The year 2016 was a momentous year for NAI.  Through generous donations received, NAI helped Christ For The Nations Colombia purchase a property for their new campus.  The school now has facilities for a cafeteria, library, dorms for 90 students, classrooms, offices, and an auditorium for 300+ people.

Other accomplishments:

We recognize that the building is a great accomplishment but it’s value depends on what the students are receiving.  At Christ For The Nations, renown theologians teach Bible classes, trained Psychologists are facilitating support groups to cultivate healthy students, and trained missionaries are empowering the students to have effective ministries.

Christ For The Nations Christian Leadership School:

There was an average of 194 students per semester originating from over 10 nations.  Several additional trainings were offered such as seminars in worship, missions, and evangelism.

Thirty-one volunteers participated in 3 missions trips to the Amazon and Choco regions impacting 1,800 people.  Fifteen other student led local mission projects impacted over 1000 lives.  The projects provided over 1300 breakfasts to the homeless, ministered weekly to underprivileged children, and built relationships with women who work in prostitution through making necklaces together and bringing hope to their lives.

Student projects (MacGyver 101)

Five projects impacted 830 people.
"You Are The City" was a project initiated in a class.  The students encouraged citizens to get involved in their community. They encouraged citizens in an influential sector of Medellin to participate in making the city a better place through recovering values in our society and confronting social indifference.

After doing the project in Medellin (picture below) for the class, the students have continued to minister together through taking student volunteers and aid to Ecuador after the 2016 earthquake and to Mocoa, Colombia after a mudslide in 2017.  The emphasis has been on the citizens of various nations working together.  The trip to Ecuador was made up of students from Italy, Venezuela, Colombia, El Salvador, and Ecuador (see second picture below).

Another project promoted forgiveness and reconciliation in relationships.  The students taught on forgiveness and then provided a phones to people on the street so they could call someone they needed to forgive or ask forgiveness.  There were many tears and much freedom that day.

Graduates
Our greatest joy is being able to report on the great accomplishments of the graduates.

We provided some awesome opportunities for our graduates last year:

Roof of Blessing:
NAI gave a $1,000 reward for the best project that included evangelism, social work, and long lasting impact.  The project that won was A roof of blessing.    They put on the roof, brought food and clothing donations, did door to door evangelism, had activities for youth and children, and prayed with 1281 people.
