At Christ for the Nations, Colombia, one of our values is training up the youth of this generation to go out and be a light in the communities, citities, and nations where God calls them. Our mission is to empower the next generation of Latinos leaders to  bring the Gospel to the nations. This is why we love to tell stories of our students and graduates to show the work God is doing and how He has used CPN to further His Kingdom. A graduate of ours (we’ll call her Melissa in the following story to protect her identity) finished her studies at CPN in 2011. During her time here, she was able to really focus on the Lord and dive deep into His word and grow in her prayer walk with Him.   One day there was a time of prayer that Pastor Jerry was leading and she began to pray for her nation, Colombia. Second year student, Sofía, has been a translator for Freshwind ministry here in Medellín for the past year and a half. She has been serving and volunteering her time leading and translating for teams that pass through the foundation ministering to the children.   Recently a team came to Medellín to minister with Randy Clark in several churches and ministries in the area. Sofi was the main translator for the trip. They were at a service and there was a woman who had not been  able to move her arms for 10 years. They prayed and declared healing over her and the woman started to move her arms!! She began to cry and thank God for healing her. The Best Way to Spend Christmas!!!! Miguel Angel spent his Christmas living the life modeled by Christ. He led his church on a trip to Lloró (The city’s name means “Cried”), Chocó, Colombia to minister to the children who wouldn’t have celebrated Christmas otherwise.    The church team brought food, presents, many activities, and the gospel to celebrate the birth of Christ.   What is better than celebrating Christmas with 400 impoverished children alongside 18 members of your church?!

Venezuela Mission No they aren't Indigenous Warriors, they are CPN students, Warriors for Christ! Venezuela mission It wasn’t a typical mission trip, the 7 students went into the mountains in Venezuela to share the gospel to indigenous groups.  The trip from Medellín to Maracaibo was a total of 26 hours and the team was received by a group from Prados Verdes Church.   Sanel – a second year student led this trip to Venezuela in December.  Laden with medicine and supplies, the seven students crossed the border and miraculously passed through fifteen different checkpoints on the way to the villages without losing any of their donations.  With the help of a few donkeys to carry their cargo, each day they walked 5 to 7 hours through the mountains to share supplies, prayer, and The Good News with ten different villages.  Unfortunately, there was a malaria epidemic in the communities, but they saw the pow...

Arianna – Italy.  After 2 years studying at CPN, Arianna graduated in July of last year.  She has a huge heart for missions but God has confirmed that He desires that she return to Europe to help wake up the church.  She felt called first to return to her home church.  She confesses that she really didn’t want to because in her church (and most churches in Italy)  Don’t form leaders Don’t have a process of discipleship Don’t teach tithing Don’t allow women to preach or teach to mixed groups or to men. She was really frustrated the first two months at her home church but God opened the door.  Her pastor asked to talk to her and said for the last two years he had felt a call to begin a discipleship program.  He asked if she had any idea of how to start it.  That opened the door for her to share what she had learned in Colombia.  She said first that they needed to form leaders.  She has started a leadership formation ...

Nations Ablaze International 2016 Impact Report: The year 2016 was a momentous year for NAI.   Through generous donations received, NAI helped Christ For The Nations Colombia purchase a property for their new campus.   The school now has facilities for a cafeteria, library, dorms for 90 students, classrooms, offices, and an auditorium for 300+ people. BEFORE   (Nov 2016) AFTER   (March 2017 – 5 months later) _____________________________________________________________ Other accomplishments: We recognize that the building is a great accomplishment but it’s value depends on what the students are receiving.   At Christ For The Nations, renown theologians teach Bible classes, trained Psychologists are facilitating support groups to cultivate healthy students, and trained missionaries are empowering the students to have effective ministries.
